After HP’s MAJOR TouchPad sale, developers started the TouchDroid project to create a working Android port for the TouchPad. The team said they would start out on earlier versions of Android and eventually work their way up to Google’s unreleased Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – and that’s exactly what they’ve done!
Today a developer named AndroidBall posted a thread on Rootzwiki announcing the released of an Android Froyo dump that works on the TouchPad:
