Today Apple officially announced that their annual World Wide Developers Conference (more commonly referred to as WWDC) will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California from the 11th of June to the 15th. With just over six weeks left until this year’s WWDC, passes went on sale for $1599 early this morning and were sold out in less than two hours (last year’s conference sold out in roughly 12 hours)!
Even though conference passes have officially been sold out, Apple confirmed that they’ll post footage “shortly after the conference” on their site for those unable to attend.
Additionally, students who are over the age of 13 and currently enrolled in the iOS Developer program may be eligible to apply for this year’s WWDC Student Scholarship.
With iOS 6 and OS X Mountain Lion scheduled to be highlights and key points of discussion, this year’s conference will certainly be memorable – but will it live up to expectations? Stay tuned for full coverage on this year’s WWDC to find out!
