iPhone 5: A5 Processor, 8MP Camera And A September Release Date

by on June 21, 2011

Bloomberg is backing up the rumors we’ve been hearing the past couple of moths about the fifth-generation iPhone.

They claim it will be unveiled in September and feature Apple’s dual-core A5 processor, which is the same chip found in the iPad 2. The report also says that the “iPhone 5″ will bump up the camera quality from the previous 5MP camera to a new 8MP one. The fifth-generation iPhone is also said to have the same form factor and feel as its predecessor (the iPhone 4) - while it doesn’t sound too revolutionary, these improvements will bring the iPhone up to speed with current smartphones.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding the next-gen iPhone!

to be honest i think if theres going to be any refresh at all this year (which i doubt seing that apple have just recently released a CDMA [verizon] AND a white version 10 months in from the original release so none of those 2 editions would of went through a year cycle) its going to be about October/November time cause i dont see them releasing a new iphone and a fresh ipod line up at the same time. But it’s apple were talking here so who knows?…

And what do yu think about the screen? Would it be bigger? Because I have an X10 and the iPhone 4 screen is smaller… It would be great a bigger screen on the iPhone
