Siri Dictation is now available via a Cydia tweak for the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, and the iPad. The Cydia tweak is called “Siri0us” and it adds a Siri Dictation icon to your iOS keyboard – just like Siri Dictation for the iPhone 4S. Although this doesn’t use the Siri technology created by Apple, it works in an identical manner.
The tweak offers the same Siri graphics and it works just like Siri Dictation would on an iPhone 4S, but it’s compatible with older iOS devices.
In order to install Siri0us, you will need to add the following source to Cydia: http://apt.iF0rce.com – you obviously need to be Jailbroken and if you’re not jailbroken, you can follow our guide for iOS 5 / iOS 5.0.1 here.
To add the source, first off, navigate into Cydia. Then go to manage, sources, tap “edit” and then “add” – finally, add the source listed above (http://apt.if0rce.com). Once the source has been added, open it up by tapping on it and then you can scroll down to Siri0us, tap on it and install it – Siri Dictation should now be working on your iOS 5 device.
UPDATE: This no longer works due to legal issues!
