Yesterday, following an earlier report (citing Verizon’s CFO) regarding the upcoming discontinuation of existing unlimited data plans as customers make the upgrade from 3G to LTE, Verizon issued a clarification statement to The New York Times.
Last week, on the 6th of May, it was reported that Apple filed a claim with the World Intellectual Property Organization (or WIPO) with the intention of having the domain, iPhone5.com turned over to the company. Yesterday brought a few very interesting iOS 5.1 Jailbreak updates, pod2g revealed that he has achieved an untethered Jailbreak on the 3rd-generation iPad running 5.1. Additionally, he was planning on testing the Jailbreak on 5.1.1 and revealed that a release is still “weeks away”.
