Last week, after announcing that exploits discovered for iOS 5.1 would be saved to create an untethered Jailbreak utility for iOS 6 instead, pod2g (a prominent iOS hacker) started having second thoughts and initiated a poll with the intent of having the Jailbreak community determine the fate of the exploits.
In quick and secretive Jailbreak update, pod2g (a key iOS hacker and security expert that was instrumental in the creation of the iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak) revealed that he’s had a “productive week-end”. The famed hacker reported his recent findings in a short and to the point Tweet:

Tonight pod2g, a renowned iOS security expert and hacker, updated his followers on Twitter with a series of tweets regarding the iOS 5.1 untethered Jailbreak status. On April 18th, pod2g announced that he managed to discover all of the exploits (presumably userland) required to create a “new [Untethered] jailbreak”.
On Wednesday, April 18th pod2g, a very prominent iOS security expert among the Jailbreak community, revealed that he and the other hackers he’s collaborating with have discovered all the required exploits for a “new [and untethered] jailbreak”. Also, pod2g informed his followers that he was, “working on bypassing ASLR at boot up”.
