According to new reports from both The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg, Foxconn (one of Apple’s primary manufacturing partners) has apparently begun hiring additional workers to aid in iPhone 5S production. Today’s news unsurprisingly follows a separate report from March, suggesting that Foxconn was preparing to enter mass production stages for the iPhone 5S.

According to a new report from DigiTimes, Apple will allegedly begin mass production for the 5th generation iPad sometime between July and August of this year. Of course, this new report contradicts earlier rumors of Apple actually releasing the next-generation 9.7-inch iPad as early as late spring or even later this month.

According to a new report from Digitimes, Apple is preparing to reduce shipments for their iPad mini tablet in the second calendar quarter of 2013. The shipment cut, as reveled by industry sources, is said to affect the total number of iPad mini’s shipped by 20% for next month, April.
As rumored yesterday, T-Mobile (the only major carrier in the United States that has yet to sell the iPhone) announced their plans to carry the wildly-popular Apple smartphone. The carrier will offer the iPhone through their new “UNcarrier” structure, which was also detailed today.
