Just a heads-up, today noncom updated TinyUmbrella, the most popular SHSH management tool for both Mac and Windows users, to support iOS 5.0.1! Now even though it’s currently impossible to downgrade from iOS 5.0.1 to iOS 5.0, you can at least save your 5.0.1 SHSH files for future use.

The other day we reported that pod2g, from The Chronic Dev Team, found another “bug” that can lead to an untethered iOS 5 Jailbreak. Late last night, pod2g divulged some additional information related to the Jailbreak by saying that Jailbreakers shouldn’t update to 5.0.1 if they’re hoping for an untethered Jailbreak on iOS 5.
