According to Bloomberg, Apple’s next-generation “iPad 3″ has entered production stages and they’re on track for a March release date.
Bloomberg’s report suggests that the upcoming iPad 3 will pack a high-resolution display (potentially a Retina display with double the resolution of the current iPad 2). Additionally, it was reported that the iPad 3 will also be equipped with a quad-core processor and an LTE compatible chipset.
With the recently discovered evidence suggesting that Apple has been testing quad-core A6 processors in iOS devices, it seems likely that Bloomberg’s reports of a quad-core processor powering the soon to be revealed iPad 3 are accurate.
With that said, stay tuned for more news and rumors related to the next-generate iPad.
