There Won’t Be An Untethered 4.3.4 Jailbreak Anytime Soon

iOS 4.3.4 was released yesterday and it’s only purpose was to patch JailbreakMe 3.0 – but thanks to the Dev Team, iOS 4.3.4 can now be Jailbroken with Redsn0w (keep in mind it’s tethered).

Typically with the release of a new firmware the most commonly asked Jailbreak question is: “When can we see an untethered Jailbreak?” Well according to i0nic, the iOS security expert that provided an untethered exploit for Redsn0w from iOS 4.2.1-4.3.3, “Don’t expect a iOS 4.3.4 untether anytime soon”.

The reasoning behind his answer is simple, iOS 4.3.4 doesn’t bring much to the table (it just patched JailbreakMe), so there really isn’t any reason for the Dev Team to waste another untethered exploit for Apple to  just patch in an update firmware before the release of iOS 5!

With that said, if you want to Jailbreak iOS 4.3.4 (tethered with Redsn0w), check out this tutorial and stay tuned for more Jailbreak related news, tutorials and updates!
